3 stars A 6 song EP released by King Crimson in 1994. The opener on this EP is "Vrooom"- typical KC song from this era. Ripping beat and guitars. It is ok but not great. 3 stars. "Sex, Sleep, Eat, Dream"- I have never been a big fan of the more "screaming" type of vocals on some King Crimson pieces and this is no exception. ** "Cage"- short frenetic piece not found on the longer album. Would be more interesting if longer. ** "THRAK"- trimmed version that I prefer to the longer, uncut version. *** "When I say Stop, Continue"- 5 minute improv piece. Improv has never been my cup of tea. ** "One Time"- mellow and moody piece that ends this EP. I like the instrumental break in the middle of this piece. Nice vocals by Adrian Belew. I like this most of all.**** Overall, I can give VROOOM 3 stars. As an EP sampler, it generally works pretty well but I think it was made more for fan of KC rather then newbies just discovering the group.
