And a good gift, it is. Dialeto from South America has a pretty unique sound I find difficult to both pinpoint and describe. Dialeto has taken a lot from both the punk scene, King Crimson and some Britpop bands which later was very influenced by punk. Add a substantial Middle Eastern feel and a lot of technical trickery. Hence the strong references to King Crimson. I think both Dialeto and this album would get a nod of approval from Robert Fripp if he ever listened to it. The music is that original and KC'ish.

The main instruments on this album are the rather dissonant and weird vocals, the both heavy, dissonant and melodic guitars, bass and drums. The sound is crystal clear, beefy and very much gets the best out of the songs here.

The quality of the music is very good throughout this album. The music is plainly weird and King Crimson'ish though so it may not be everyone's taste. This album is close to be a great album too. But my only gripe is the lack of any truly great songs here. But their sound is great and I believe this is a band capable of also sorting out some great songs in the future. Everything else is there in their sound. Close but not quite there yet.
