1 stars After the dissolution of Neu! Due to a conflictual relationship with Klaus Dinger, Michael Rother launched his career in solo. He first made three mesmerizing albums for ambient / minimalist guitar style (Fammende Herzen, Sterntaler, Katzenmusik). Unfortunately, after that the man painfully reiterates his experience with a serie of passable albums. Released in 1987, Traumensen is one of them. Compositions are always presented in a beautiful, detached, monotonous tone, mixing guitars with electronic effects, however the alchemy doesn't work. The sound is too sophisticated, tracks are too soft, less refined than previously. Unessential
