4 stars What are we discussing?Vai is an artist that want to create on every album something new and original stuff. This is really a great album.ok many songs' structure are different between Flexable or the original Vai sound and i think that there is a massive evolution to Satriani style. It can be said that the G3 experience has changed Vai's way to compose melody. For sure there are many songs that must be mentioned as my best songs in the album (i consider them 5 stars or 4.5) and others at least 4 stars.

Best song:

1-There's a fire in the house:it sounds a Satriani songs and i've just told about this change not total but partial for Vai's songs. 5

2-the Crying Machine:Vai is incredible because in this song he is able to create a motif and on it make a significant solo.4.5

3-Dyin' Day:Great song, the initial riff with a dirty sound, blows my mind and after you turn off the stereo you'll remind it for the entirely day. 5

4-Hand on Heart:sentimental song and a little bit romantic but it's good stuff. The touch of steve is evident to the song take a sound for his harmonic with guitar. 5

5-Bangkok:The fly that runs on the initial part of the song it's a prelude of a prog rock wind that you can breathe and bring you to Fire garden Suite.5

6-Fire Garden Suite: there 's a liaison between Bangkok and this song. FGS is an epic song for prog rock profile divided in 4 parts.Great stuff, if you like Drem theater epic song you like it too. 5

7-All About Eve: romantic song that can drive crazy all lovers around the world. Intense love song with good guitar and warm Vai's voice.

For me a 4.5/5 stars album
