5 stars "Voices of presence" is the second album from Headline and shows a changing pattern of band's style. "Scape" explores a more hard rock sound. Instead "Voices" goes through a complex rhythm, melody, lyrics. Sylvie Grare and Didier Chesneau composed mostly of the tracks. The album portraits dark corners of inner feelings and voices. The higher point stants on Trilogy (I,II,III) and a well interpreted dialog between a person and the devil (inside the mind?). More and more, melody really involves atmospheres according to the thematical. Very heavy and yet some classical orchestration and powerfull drums can be heard. "Awaken Dream", last but really not least. Beautifull combination of everything developd along the album.
