5 stars As always, the time put every piece in the right place.

In the 70's, the english groups of the progresive music genere were the "champions" in the sales market world, and occuped all the attention of the press media, but this don't neccesary means that the english movement was the only one or the better. In the same moment, there was a paralel movement in countries like Italia, France, German, and even Spain, they had an incredible amount of bands of progresive music, some of they are even existing, touring and recording right now, in the 2005.

Almost all the italian groups of progresive jazz and rock of the 70's belong to a country where the music has been always an important form of art: ITALIA And of course, you can note the strong musical tradition in the master works of bands as Il BALLETTO DI BRONZO, P.F.M. BANCO, LE ORME, GOBLIN, MAXOPHONE, NEW TROLLS, MUSEO ROSENBACH, PERIGEO, LA CORTE DEI MIRACOLI, LOCANDA DELLE FATTE, QUELLA VECCHIA LOCANDA, CELESTE, AREA, L'UOVO DI COLOMBO, ALPHATAURUS, ARTE E MESTIERI, and many, many more names that right now I can't remember.

The "ZARATHUSTRA'S REVENGE" 4CD ALBUM is a very interesting work, because shows all the incredible music and talent of the 70's italian bands,as well as the talent of the new italian bands of today, that play the songs of the "past masters" with incredible accuracy, and make some excelent arrangements to a songs that are a master pieces by own right.

there are not all the bands that must be in the recopilation, but is a very good example of what progresive italian jazz and rock bands made and make, and for some body that does not know nothing of the italian progresive music, could be a very good introductory work. my personal rate of the album is five stars. Enjoy music and be happy!!
