EVERYONE INTO POSITION

A week ago, I'd never hear these guys- a mention on a message forum, a couple of MP3 downloads, some national newspaper reviews and a live concert later, and here I am waiting for HMV to open so I can get my hands on this album!

And what an album - I've had the thing on solid rotation for 24 hours now and I'm sure this is going to be pushing hard for my album of the year. It just works on so many levels - Whether it's the pummeling 3 guitar intensity of 'A Homage To A Shame' or the delicate shadings of 'Music For A Nurse', this album grips you from start to end. Intense and dark yet at the sametime the sort of music that will just wrap around you and let you just baste in it's brilliance.

It's very hard to give points of reference because after the influences have been through the Oceansize blender, it all comes out pretty unique, but I think it's fair to say that anyone who appreciates recent Porcupine Tree, Dredg or Anathema will go an absolute bomb on this.
