3 stars i've been following Dream Theater for a long time and im a fan, i was not happy with this album, it has great songs as New Millenium, Trial of Tears, Just let me Breath...Burning my soul and you not me arent good at all, and they are arranged in a market way(the unrelease demos of the songs is much better)...you not me is bad in the unreleased too. Hells Kitchen probably one of the finnest solos from Mr.John Peter Petrucci, that is not a oppener for Lines In the sand(that has pinnick from kings X doing back vocasl, he got soul), is actually a solo from Burning My soul, they took it out of the song and made a song.(this version is better then the one inside BMS in my opinion). The ballad Hollow Years is a great song, the live versions are x3 times better(Budokan). Labrie's voice compared to Awake and Images & Words isnt at all good. He still sings well but im more a fan of his youth, he has a much more powerfull sound then now(injury*). Kevin Moore was the man for Dream Theater, i liked the woh woh sound from Derek, hes better then rudess at doing that; and Rudess is just an incredible musician, but his solo work and with Liquid Tension Experiment is way more rocking than what he does in DT.
