4 stars Had to recognize that I have Nichelodeon in my personal list of RIO favs since the purchase of Cinemanemico... This one has most of the basic elements from that previous attempt: complex melodies, beautiful and enigmatic piano sections, captivating atmospheres... But there's something else...

Claudio Milano (vocals) and the band take the risk to put this RIO proposal into another level in which we find some crimsonian textures mixed with improvisation (Fame), scary chamber rock mini epics (Fiaba, Malamore e la Luna), some pure RIO impro (Claustrofilia); some reminders of classic 70 RIO (Amanti in guerra, Ombre Cinesi) and at least a pair of experimental pieces that moves between different genres to create attractive and singular compositions full of energy and dark sections (Apnea, Ciņ che rimane).

If you are looking for some dark, atmospheric RIO this album will be your stuff. It's a compelx piece of music that gives us the chance to appreciate how a band can take the elements of a genre that the fans know very well, put some original and personal inffluences to build an album full of surprising moments... Totally recommended to any music fan...
