4 stars It took me awhile to get myself together after listening to this album-it is a real breathtaker...Steve Walsh is one of the best singers and composers of our time and it is a pity that albums like this one do not come out of obscurIn this one Walsh is cynic, caustic and pours out some of the most powerful music you can hear to accompanie all those lyrics he wrote. I had chills after hearing the ending of the song"kansas"...you seem to be in front of an ghost chant dance and the muted voice thundering like a curse to all the "civilised" Europoeans that took over the American Continent and vanished his Indian Anchestors..."I will take you down...Iwill take you down... repeatedly till it fades... Just listen to the tremendous rocker"Heart Attack" and you will see the high level of musianship showcased by Walsh, Virgil Donati,Billy greer and of course Mike Slamer of City Boy. Haunted Man,Smacking The Clowns and of course Glossolalia which really gives an idea to all new musicians that these oldtimers can really rock extremely well! One of the best albums of 2000!
