SIX DEGREES OF INNER TURBULENCE

For me Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is the best album of the Rudess-era. It is quite a diverse and experimental piece of work , it brought some fresh ideas in the music of DT. It is not the recyclement of old themes , like some parts of their other outputs since 1994. The Glass Prison is a blistering prog/ thrash track , it's among my favourites altough I do not like that sort of musicso much.Blind Faith is a calmer song with great keyboard work. The remaining 3 tracks are also very exciting , they are influenced by Led Zepp, Crimson, Tool , Rush, Radiohead.But this is real DT music experimenting with other styles and not stolen tracks(Never Enough for example).The second CD with the title track is their most ambitious work. It is a great musical flow. 6DOIT is a higly recommended for all open minded music lovers.
