Meshuggah's very first (and very rare) EP contains three tracks that later would appear on their debut album 'Contradictions Collapse' a few years later. This is basically a collectors item today considering that the whole EP is available on the 'Rare Traxx' compilation in 2001, and I wish you good luck trying to find it. As for the music, it's gritty and proggy thrash-metal at it's finest, giving tech-thrash legends such as Watchtower and Sieges Even something to think about, but the early Meshuggah sound is best represented on 'Contradictions Collapse' and their highly original style started to develope.
