2 stars If "Imaginary Friends" is any indication of their entire catalog, then A.C.T. is a disappointment. Ola Andersson is one talented guitarist, but his work seems wasted on rather uninspiring and erratic arrangements. The band has some great moments for sure, but the songs all seem to lose direction.

A.C.T. needs to leave the disjointed melodies and weak vocal theatrics behind and concentrate on doing what they do best - playing their instruments. Tracks 10 and 11 give a hint as to what these guys can really do. The Queen and Dream Theater infliuences are there, but to me they sound like a dead ringer for a Canadian band named "Harem Scarem".
