«» Bravo Monsieur Jean-Luc Ponty is here.! ;-) «» After two excellent albums, "Aurora" (75) "Imaginary Voyage" (76), JLP crafted the beautiful "Enigmatic Ocean" showing again that his creativity never stops. As usual, he recruited high caliber musicians such as Allan Holdsworth, Daryl Stuermer, and Steve Smith. Is precisely Allan Holdsworth, with his particular style, who plays a decisive role "dueling" against JLP in two superb suites: "Enigmatic Ocean" and "The Struggle Of The Turtle To The Sea". This two gems pay off this highly recommended record. Four and 3/4 deserved stars.
