2 stars I was sent the link to this free download album at Jamendo by the band. Thank you guys.

This demo was released back in 2004 and it is their second demo. I have yet to hear their first demo. But the band is still in a development phase on this demo too. They pack a lot into this thirty-five minutes long demo.

First of all, the sound is very good so no quarrels there. The drum sound is a bit dubious though. Sometimes, it feels like the drums has been recorded in a field, far away from the mics. The rest of the instruments sound comes out fine though. In particular the guitars which is very much in the front of the mix.

This being a demo, the band wants to showcase what they are doing. Which is a lot. It is really difficult to describe this demo (Read: download and listen yourself !) because it is style wise all over the place. From Krautrock to space rock to jazz, avant-garde and a large dosage of post rock too. There are even some female vocals here. But the basis is actually post rock on this album.

Quality wise, this is indeed an interesting demo with decent quality. It does sorely lack some really good melody lines, details and songs. It is also a bit incoherent too. But it is still a very decent demo which can be obtained from jamendo.com/pl/artist/snr
