4 stars This album is good, but not essential Zappa.

The Closer You Are: This song, I find quite boring to be perfectly honest. I can't picture many progfans liking this too too much.

In France: Some may find it funny, but I didn't find the humour in this that funny, and the song itself was not that great.

Ya Hozna: Great guitar, with wacky backwards vocals. Not my favourite though, but many who own this album seem to like it.

Sharleena: I find this song boring, in about the same vein as ''The Closer You Are''

Sinister Footwear ||: This is where things get a bit better, I absolutely LOVE this instrumental. The haunting piano and guitar parts get me everytime.

Truck Driver Divorce: This song also is better then the first several, it's funny without relying on humour too much. A well balanced track.

Stevie's Spanking: Excellent guitar parts, and extremely funny as well, it's another one that finds a balance between humour and music.

Baby Take Your Teeth Out: This track was funny at first, but got boring quickly.

Marque's - Sons Chicken: Another great instrumental, in my opinion not as good as sinister footwear, but it's still fairly good.

Planet Of my Dreams: Very cool vocals, and it's sort of catchy, but i rarely find myself listening to it, it's not a bad song at all though.

Be In My Video: Quite funny, and some cool musicianship -- but I dont find myself listening to it much. Not that memorable.

Them Or Us: This song has some excellent bass, a very cool instrumental. Still not as good as sinister footwear II, in my opinion.

Frogs With Dirty Little Lips: This one is catchy and funny, i'll listen to it if i'm in the mood. A fairly cool song.

Whipping Post: A very cool song, I have never heard the original, but this song is fairly good. Has some great guitar.
