3 stars Another solid album from Manning. Great songs, great compositions. I like the varied textures, the use of folk, and classic Prog sounds and styles, although again there are just tiny bits hear and there that seem mathamatical rather than musical. Like they have been added because the composer felt they ought to be as it's Prog.

Guys voice does fit the music, with good lyrics and songs where the lyrics tell a story, but sometimes doesn't quite grab me in a way I feel the music needs. I want just that little bit more emotion and harder edge sometimes to give the vocals a little more dynamic. That's only my personal opinion as no doubt others will love this album because they love Guy Mannings voice.
