3 stars Proclamation, So Sincere and Aspirations (i.e. the first three songs) are great, but in general the rest of the album just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's because some of the songs are more straight ahead by GG's standards, and some of the singing actually annoys me. According to the GG website, Cogs in Cogs is a fan favorite, but it's FAR from being among my favorite GG songs, which include Advent of Panurge, Knots, In A Glass House, and Proclamation.
