5 stars Anglagard has done the best symphonic album since the ´70: Hyrbis! Marvellous album, not quite a masterpiece but close. to say that they sound old school is right, but to say they sound like a copy of old bands is a lie. They have a very personal sound with heavy melotron, the beatufull flute passages, the hard bass lines, the high guitar fills and the astonishing drumm work...in a way they are a bit like Yes meets King Crimson, but again not a copy at all! Jördrok is the ultimate symphonic intrumental for me...its beatifull, hard, long and full of virtuosism. The rest of the songs are also excellent (special metion Kung Bore) but its Jördrok which really makes this album a classic. 4.5/5
