MAGIC IS A CHILD

An excellent album, with some very strong pieces. Favourite "Listen" - what a track! Always a bit disappointed when it ends - should have been much longer, but contains one of the best guitar solos known to man and a huge, melancholy sound. Side two preferred, has a far more dramatic lineup (with the exception of train from nowhere - a bit too much like pop, but still enjoyable). Title track employs harpsichord to great effect and is a nice 'quiet' addition to the album. 'Away from Asgard' is brilliant, ambient keyboard and echoey guitars, coupled with accents of harpsichord - such a dynamic track. Really can't understand those who thinkthis is a weak album, but you're entitled to your opinion and me to mine. Just that mine is more right than yours.
