5 stars The pinnacle of his career. I love every single track on this album. The opening song, The Trans-Love Express, is typical 70s fusion, fun yet complex at the same time. Mirage is probably his most well known work, save Cosmic Messanger. The epic title track is so amazing... parts II and III in particular, it shows the musicianship of everyone that he is playing with (including Daryl Stuermer, yay for Wisconsinites). Nostalgic Lady is probably the worst track on the album. That being said, it's still wonderfully crafted. And finally, the epic Turtle. I love the subduedness of it all... I have a picture I have created with this song ever since I first listened to this album at 10 years old.

Truly amazing album. It's enigmatic! ha.
