4 stars This was the first Spock's Beard album I bought. Unlike some other reviewers It took one or two plays before I started to get into it. The musicianship is outstanding and each track is tight in its delivery. 'The Good Don't Last', Strange World' and 'Flow', are perhaps the most immediate and memorable for their 'overtures' to KC and Yes and yet there is a definite stamp of individualism that entirely defines and identifies the music as that of this group. If you are a fan of the latter two groups mentioned. You will enjoy this album. I recommend this album as a good place to start if you are new to Spock's Beard. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because some of the lyrics were a little to simplistic and "cheesy" - Otherwise, it has memorable, catchy tracks that certainly elevate these guys up along with Dream Theatre, Glass Hammer and Transatlantic. Go out buy and enjoy this album. I certainly count it as one of my 'must have' new progressive rock albums.
