Yes clone? Well, they are stylistically similar but what is wrong with another album similar to Close To The Edge? This is exceptional music here and dare I say it rivals Yes' great albums. I love the counter-melodies on this album. "Forces" and "Lady of the Lake" have to be heard by every prog fan. For me the only weaknesses on the album are the instrumentals which is unusual since I usually prefer instrumental prog songs. The main strength to Starcastle besides the music is the harmonies therefore that may be why the instrumentals seem weaker though still above average prog songs. A fantastic album that I still LOVE to listen to.
