4 stars This is the first compilation of this amazing mexican band, im not a huge fan of compilation or "the best" albums, this is kind of "the Best", but i have to say that this is a very good album, because here we can find the most great songs of this band since they appear in 1995, this is like a compilation of their first 10 years. Cabezas de Cera is nowadays one of the best mexican bands, and it is also a very innovative band and it is very difficult to place them in one subgenre, because in this album we can find from Space, Symphonic passages, to kind of Jazzy and Folkish sounds, only one song has voice, the others are only instrumental , they have a great knowledge of what music is, i think they have in some songs a clear Crimson influence, but their sound is unique, in fact, Mauricio Sotelo has done instruments by himself, they are great musicians, and we can realize of that hearing their songs. Gocxilla, Mil Noches, Nocturno Incandescente are my favorite songs here, also we can listen to a "live" track which show us the sound of the band in concert, is great too, and the last track is an unreleased track its lenght is over 9 minutes, and it is a very good track. For all this facts iŽd like to suggest this awesome band to all of you, but you have to strt with albums like Cabezas de Cera and Un Segundo, then you can listen to this compilation album.
