TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS

Hands down Topographic Oceans is my favorite Yes album and one of my favorite albums period, definitely a "if you were stranded on a desert island" albums. One of the aspects that draws me to progressive music is "the epic". I love to be taken from one place to another, that when I finish listening to an album I feel as if I've been somewhere. Much like the symphonic poems of Respighi or the Strauss' this set does that and on a grand symphonic scale. A very bold outing at the time I feel that this is Yes at the peak of their form, their "voice" in the world of progressive music.
