3 stars This is an interesting album.

It begins with a nice fully symphonic track, Antes de ser Transformado, that gives the feeling that this will be a great prog album. But after that, for the next seven songs, the prog almost completely disappears. While not unlistenable, due to excellent musical performances, from Cambio de Suerte to Cerca del Cielo, the album becomes something between power pop and arena rock.

Singer Ariel Martin carries these songs as well. His voice has a bit of a resemblance to the great Freddie Mercury, and sometimes even conveys the same sweetness.

Luckily, the last four tracks revert back to the symphonic style that the opener teased us with. And these songs are beautiful examples of modern prog, with hints of some of the great bands of the new millenium.
