4 stars After my first 2-3 listens I felt that this was the best TFK album ever. It is more easy to get into, the songs seem to be well worked (as opposite to improvised) and it's only a single CD, which I prefer. But additional listens reveal some boring moments and a pair of weaker songs, so this is not the perfect album I expected it to be. Anyway there are many good tracks: I Am The Sun is very entertaining, specially the first part, with some hard rockin' stuff and also some mellower parts, with a new element, the sax, that fit the music of TFK nicely. I also like very much the short atmospheric Dream On Dreamer, again with good sax lines. Rumble Fish Twist and Monster Within both feature very good playing from every member of the group, with different moods within every song. The catchy Chicken Farmer Song is one of my favourite tunes by TFK, with lovely melodies which fall somewhere in the middle of The Beatles and Yes. After that the album falls a little with tracks 6-8 which are IMO the weaker ones, despite the brilliant guitar solo at the end of Slave To Money. But then A Kings Prayer raise the level again with its acoustic ballad beginning and its anthemic chorus. And I Am The Sun Part Two closes the album with nice atmospheric music, although not as interesting as part one.

3'5 stars really, but if I have to choose between 3 and 4 I will be generous.
