4 stars This has little to do with the lp side long psychedelic trips of earlier albums. This points towards a more song based aproach to their music. But that does not go in detriment of the overall quality of this offering which is excellent and still filled with 'prog' moments through out. You can still hear their original way of composing, clever use of the violin, walls of keyboard based sounds, weird voices and avant garde crazyness. This was, to Amon Duul II, comparable to what Bowie did in his trasition from Diamond Dogs to Low. Recommended!
