5 stars As a longtime TFK fan, I can honestly say that this is their 7th album (out of 11) that I feel is deserving of 4 1/2 or 5 stars; their music is often that great and consistent. And this album is no different. I am still trying to wrap my head around much of this album, but every time I listen to it, it sounds absolutely glorious, and before I know it, it is over, and I find myself wanting to listen to it again. It has the classic TFK melodies, which are always a unique blend of catchy melodies and slow growers; there is something new to be heard every single time you listen to their records.

I can't call this one of their absolute best studio albums - it will be hard for them to ever top Flower Power, Paradox Hotel or Stardust We Are, all of which are double albums - but as far as singles go, I'd put it just behind Space Revolver and Retropolis. And considering I feel that The Flower Kings are THE essential modern progressive ROCK band, I feel this is yet another essential record by them.
