STILL LIFE

I cannot think of another prog band that managed to maintain such quality over the course of three back-to-back LP's. This album and the one's that bookend it mark the pinnacle of VDGG's career. The only ciriticism I have of 'Still Life' is that I feel that, in comparing those three albums, the final two tracks here do not quite match the peerless quality taken as a whole. Having said that 'Pilgrims' has to be my favourite VDGG track ever.
