4 stars I used to really really like this album because I loved Karn-Evil... Now, I still like it, but now after having listened to many more albums I find several flaws on it that make me think that this is not an amazing album as I used to think... First of all... the main track, Karn-Evil seems to me way too long and uneven.. I mean It doesnt seem to be one song.. sometimes the lyrics get me tired and the movements dont seem to be "integrated" to the whole song... I like Toccatta and still you turn me on even though I have an obvious feeling that this song was made just to sell and its not what these guys could actually do with all their time and effort... anyway.. you should definitely give this album a space in your collection, but I don't think this should be considered a masterpiece of prog by any means
