Solar Music Live is more than just another progressive rock album, it is, for the fans in special the germans, almost a religion that survived with special versions released over the years. Solar Music Live is a memorable show recorded with the same subject of the studio version from the album "Ballermann", divided into pieces not interrupted in more than fifty and five minutes. It's also one of few records to almost reach a status of unamimity, it means that the fan of more classic and symphonic progressive and fans of most experimental will like this album.

It is difficult to fit this record on one substyle, the definition would be space rock, but elements and characteristics of other substyles exist, like krautrock, symphonic and psichedelic.
