4 stars Thanks to the reveiws here, I finally picked this album up. What can I say that has not been said? This album is fantastic, in a warped and twisted way. I never really thought I would hear essentially folk style music played in such a menacing and even sometimes brutal fasion. What a gem of an album. A shame there is just the one that is good. But a true find if you like prog folk. It also helps to like Peter Hammill (VDGG days in particular) and possibly to have experience with LSD (seriously). For 1970 (when they recorded it) this is amazing stuff. Anyway, recommened.
