5 stars Twenty Years ago (give or take a few), I was Five or Six years old, digging through my Father's record shelf. I found this one album with a colorful, cool looking cover and since I wasn't allowed to touch the stereo, I asked my Mom to play it for me.

That's when I remembered that I heard it a few years earlier, where the opening bars scared the crap out of me so bad that it made me cry! But this time, I sat and listened....and continued to repeat this ritual EVERY NIGHT before bedtime for what must have been months.

Of all of the Motown, Jazz and Radio Pop that I was surrounded with, THIS was my very first musical love. Especially because it had all of that other stuff and more! I didn't know it as "Prog Rock", just that it was the one collection of songs that resonated with me on the deepest level of all.

To this day, I am permanently damaged. Thank You, Todd. I feel so blessed that you got to me with this Music before all of the crap that panders to the Number One Lowest Common Denominator did.

The Reviewers before me have said it all. Anything else that I can say will just be more Sentimental Babbling, it's so hard to be objective about this album because it is, for me, the Bedrock of my Musical Tastes. This is what made me a die-hard Prog-Head for Life, almost since the beginning of it!!!

Todd Rundgren's Utopia: Just BUY IT already!!!
