3 stars A choral start followed by a strange combination of sweet like singing and strong guitar work. The main melody in the first tarck is very naive but then the following guitar solo is quite intelligent. Tha track ends as strangely as it started.

There are many vocalists in the group, five altogether. I am sure the band has tried to make good music but has it secceeded? Not quite. Somehow it shows that this was done without a real inspiration. Players are skilful with respective instruments and there are great individual efforts but the whole is somewhat lame.

As with so many bands of the eighties there are traces of Camel and even Yes and hint of Genesis in the music. The Guitarist Raimund Popp being the foremost musician. The music is not pure synphonic. You can find folk elements as well. And Pop. What is nice is the use of chorale singing without words. Poetic prog with female singing takes your thoughts to Renaissance and there are similarities but they succeed to be original. Some melodies are like borowed from dutch Focus.

Poetry, yes this is quite poetic symphony. Lightweight symphonic prog. Quite nice though. As music between good *** and excellent ****. As prog album good but non essential: ***.
