3 stars I have listened to this album various times. I apologize that I cannot rate this higher. This album (for some reason) kind of bores me. There are some strong moments, for sure. I LOVE some of the more upbeat moments, but many times, the chords seem atonal. For some reason, I don't like it. I really don't understand how this album is rated so highly. I am baffled. To my ears, this is good, decent music from Yes, but it is not even close to being a masterpiece, let alone among the very best albums of progressive rock. I like Fragile 20 times better. I even like TFTO better. I like Relayer better as well. Professional music critics rate this album extremely high as well. Go figure. At any rate, this is my rating. It represents my viewpoint alone. Take it for what it's worth.
