When I think of this album I always smile!

Actually, this is the ONLY album that my mother has asked me not to play... ever!

Lets make one thing clear. It is very hard to review this album since it is so diverse. "Jerusalem" is over pretentious, "Still... you turn me on" is somewhat boring and "Benny the bouncer" is just insane.

The two major prog pieces are "Toccata" and "Karn evil", and they are mindblowing! I must admit that I love this more than necessary complicated arrangements. In a way that's what ELP is all about for me.

The reviews above cover these songs in detail so I'll keep it short.

The album in total = 3,5 stars Toccata and Karn evil = 6,5 stars (on a five star scale) Overall = 4 stars

I listen to this album in my mp3 player and my advice is to simply remove the 3 not so funny songs and go for the prog - cause prog it is!
