DeathRow
3 stars Basically this album contains two side-long jams covering two faces of the early krautrock scene.

Freak'n'Roll is the first of the two songs, an extended jam, rock and roll guitar backed with jazzy rhythms gradually building up to a grand final of stellar seize, but never going over- the-top (which is a pity i think). the second song. notably called Jenseits is a more intrinsic cosmic experience, more carried by cosmic keyboards than guitar. really soft and ambient it works it's way to the end in waves of electronic sounds and occasional spoken words (very few really).

Certainly not amongst my favourites of the genre, but worth a listening, the great part about this album is the fact that both sides are completely different, yet seem to fit together very well. worth a spin if you like cosmic music.

Peace Out
