3 stars Jazz sees Queen continuing in the path they had set with their previous album (News Of The World), a reasonable good effort, but not really great.

The Mercury songs are the better songs on this album, Mustapha, Bicicle Race, let Me Entertain You and Don't Stop Me Know, fairly hard rocking, very much piano/drum based songs, with great guitars added aswell. The Deacon song In Only Seven Days is just incredible sweet. But though each song has some beauty in it. It fails to deliver really.

All in all, I like this album, but I can't reward it with more than three stars, as it's good, but certainly not essential, just fun to listen once in a while.
