3 stars The damned thing stood up and gave me a bit of a shove! That's better - kind of like where the wrestler is seemingly down and finished but then you see his fingers spasm and you just know he is going to stand up and whup sum azz! Rush show signs of life in the twilight of the 80's. Stand out tracks - "Show don't Tell", "The Pass", "Scars", "Available Light". This is still, to the main, pretty innocuous stuff however there are definite signs that the band is coming back to life. I can't say that I disliked Rush through the mid to late 80's but neither can I say that they impressed me during the period. I have the albums and I'm happy that I have them but if I didn't I wouldn't be missing all that much. Another three star album for me but there are signs of hope that soon I will be bitten again by the music.
