3 stars This is a completly underated album, as far as I'am concerned. Sure, it is not the same Comus from the first album - but bands shouldnt stick with the same type of sound forever. If Comus had a "normal" musical career, achieving to release their works without interruption, this would be, therefore, their third or even fourth album.

Anyway, the music itself is a interesting combinantion of the 1970's pop, with the absolutely gorgeous Lindasy Cooper giving some good breath and a lot of the trademark sound of Comus - manily in vocals and the acoustic bits. The opening track already shows what a great album this can be if you give the chance. "Children of the Universe" and "So Long Supernova" have their charm, "Panophany" is a little play that makes us wonder: "What if Comus join the RIO Movement?". And the title track is also not to be thrown away.

What made such a low score in this album is the famous "comparison game", people WANT to hear here "First Utterance", when they dont, they get annoyed, and go down with 2 stars. Down down down...

Like a shooting star.
