4 stars I agree with everyone that this work is far way better than Novella, and IMHO should be seen as the last great album from Renaissance, before the embarrasing pop era. A Song For All Seasons is a proof that Renaissance still had all possibilities to sound like earlier works. Although the album has a more pop-oriented sound, the music's still brilliant! Annie's voice is as lovely as usual, and the fact that long compositions are still included gives more than one reason to listen to this gem. It is sad to think that Reniassance would never sound the same as they did in the seventies (not even in Grandine Il Vento) but at least this is a decent goodbye. A really nice album, for everyone who liked the earlier albums as much as me.
