MIRROR OF CREATION 2 - GENESIS II

Hi Everybody!
Hailin' right from Morocco : it's one of the most accomplished albums i ever heard in my life: imagine VIRGIN STEELE and VANDEN PLAS in one Band that what's TOMORROW'S EVE is all about :compared to the new "pseudo-prog metal bands" TOMORROW'S EVE stands as one of the new leaders of progressive metal.
I admit that i am writing this review based on one listening but i got enough experience to know that the CD is not gonna leave my Sony discman for a long while because.
You got everything within it :
* REVOLUTION OF HIGH TECHNIQUE (in every sense of the word by every musician)
* MELODIC CHOPS (the guitar)
* MAGNIFICENT CONCEPT'S LYRICS
* TERRIFIC HIGH RANGE VOCALS

And the important thing is you won't be able to forward a track as it's usual with some albums. You got wonderful 12 tracks made with "heart of steel" without any boring commercial ballad, of course We got smooth slow passages in M.O.C 2 but each real progger will realize that we got affair with very high professional guys who don't mock with the fans.
I can make a review like those we read from some excellent reviewers here but the stuff is too PERFECT that it'll take me the whole day to analyse you every part of the album because the disc just simply works like hell !!!
BUY IT THE EYES CLOSED !! YOU WON'T REGRET IT and i'm itching to have it on Digital Audio format than 320 kpbs mp3 format.

Tomorrow's Eve is a german prog metal band who reaches in 2006 to the third album - Mirror of creation 2 - Genesis II . The line up of this album is diffrent from the previous works, here we have a new vocalist, Martin Le Mar, a new bass player and a new drum player, only the main guitarist and the keyboard player stood still. With this line up they've reach to a new aproach in they're sound, now is more tigh and they are more confident in they're skills. The prog metal thy've offered here is well balanced, well done, but something is missing. The voice of Martin LeMar is brilliant for such music, he fits very well here, he has a powerfull range just perfect for prog metal. He also is the singer on Lalu - Oniric metal from 2005. Aswell Lalu is invited on this album to do the key passages on Not From This World. The music Tomorrow's Even play is something between Vanden Plas and Dream Theater, but they have their own aproach. The album as I espectd in first place is nothing grounbreaking or original, but has some very fine moments like :Amnesia, the rough Pain and Irreversible, the rest are just ok. They alternate some very strong and well done instrumental passages with some realy mediocre, that made from this album to be only 3 stars. Pleasent most of the time with LeMar shining on every piece, but as whole is not a masterpiece or something close. But the album desearve 3 stars, is a good one but not excellent. Tomorrow's Eve is considered among the top bands from Germany in prog metal, along with Vanden Plas, Dreamscape and others. A band that needs attention in the future, they have potential, and if they know how to use it, we only can hear good things from them. The CD is available on LionMusic like the next one. So, enjoy this band who is now on the path to recognition. The next one is a little better than this one.
