2 stars For those of us fans who may have doubted Iron Maiden's power going into this new millenium and after a stellar album like Brave New World we'd be pleasently surprised, there's some great music on here.

This single was release before the (excellent) Dance Of Death album, and the single does it some justice, but not enough. While it does include the amazing RAINMAKER, a song I can never get enough of, it's the other tracks here that are in question, let's take a look. The orchestrated DANCE OF DEATH is pretty well done, however, I've always been a bigger fan of the album version. MORE TEA VICAR is a completely bizzare song that would worry many fans if they weren't sure if this kind of behavior would carry onto the studio album, luckily, it didn't. The song is appreciable but very abstract (yes, that's the word), judge for yourelf I suppose.

So why 2 stars? Well, singles/eps will probably never recieve more than 3 from me, being that I only ever collect them and don't necissary ever find them essential, but they're usually entertaining. Being also, that most of the music on here is also on the studio album. So, this one ends up being for the fans and collectors, people who don't particularly know much about the band are best off going elsewhere, but this is a cool buy if you can find it, as it comes with a pretty sweet (if small) poster for the upcoming tour and b- sides are always nice to hear, as they show different sides of the bands that aren't usually visible on studio albums.
