2 stars Is this the same band who released the brilliant Live After Death ??

I honestly do not know whose brilliant idea it was to split up a double album into two entities with new and old songs. This is the live album with the new songs post Powerslave. This live album is made with several recordings, crudely glued together to create a live album. The sound quality is not good either. The sound recordings is from the tour of 1992-93. No information is provided. The songs are mostly the short and street metal songs from Somewhere In Time (only represented by the annoying Heaven Can Wait) to Fear Of The Dark. Most of the tracks is from their horrible No Prayer For The Dying. There is not a single epic song here, with the exception from Fear Of The Dark. The sound quality is not good either. Iron Maiden seems utterly uninterested during the songs and this must be their worst ever live album.

The best description of this live album is the word ripoff. That's what it is. It is an attempt of fleecing the gullible, loyal Iron Maiden fans. Those who are putting food on the table for Iron Maiden, it's managment and record label. To give their good fans this live album, is utterly disrespectful. It is degrading towards the trademark Iron Maiden. It is putting money above art. Even a supermarket have more self-respect than this.

There are some good tracks here and I cannot give it 1 star. But I am tempted because I am seething with anger. But 2 stars is a true reflection of this album.
