4 stars Without doubt my favourite Neuronium album of the 5 own. Although released as Neuronium this is just Micheal Huygen composing ,playing and producing. Synapsia is a lot more unique and spacey compared to the others although still recalling seventies Tangerine Dream with Mellotron like sounds (it may be a mellotron but I would imagine that electronic artists now use a pre programmed synth imitation rather than the original beast) . The shortest track of the 5 tracks is just under 10 minutes and all develop slowly. Nothing is quick tempo and the stereo is used perfectly to caress the ears. Headphone music for sure.My favourite track is Brainsucker (great title) which seems to go with the weird and slightly scary cover artwork. I like my electronic music to have a beat and this one is a good solid one.
