CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

"Theres a rainbow in my heart, even though we had to part......" A great, beautiful, and mellow track by Eloy comes from 1994's THE TIDES RETURN FOREVER. This is a set of 2 single edits. One is 4 minutes long and the other is a bit longer. WIth a different singer this could have been a Pink Floyd song from about the period after Roger Waters left-very "Gilmouresque". I am slowly working my way to getting all that Eloy has made, and it was nice to hear this single before I got the album. I am not a fan of radio-edits, however, this is not terrible. But the longer album version IS much better, I must say. A great song to relax to, as is much of Eloy's work. 3 stars. Very good.
