5 stars Filmed in Spain in 1988 , this is an essential Zappa release. It features the legendary lineup from The Best band you never heard in your life which is packed with top notch musicians such as ... well all of them. If there was something that Zappa knew how to do was to gather the most capable people around his projects and getting the best out of them. FZ , Ike Willis and Tommy Martin share the vocals performing the different characters on the songs. Sometimes is hard to believe that a guy like Tommy Martin is singing parody songs because his voice is amazing. In my opinion the stars of the band are the brass section , Bruce Fowler and Kurt McGetrick deliver impressive solos in Black Napkins and The torture Never Stops. The track selection is very varied featuring songs from every Zappa period. In addition to that , this guys make the viewer spend a good time during their 2 hours stare at the TV because there are hilarious numbers as Jesus thinks you are a jerk and an amazing version of I am the Walrus , even a little improv over the Bonanza theme! Also if you are looking for emotional moments there is a version of Watermelon in Easter Hay that will make you weep like a child. Suming up this is a DVD in which we can appreciate that FZ close to the end of his career still was capable of giving one hell of a show.If you are a newcomer to FZ this release is a must have , you will become a Zappa freak after viewing it.

5 stars A very good concert of a mitic music and band. In spite of musician someone belong to the band that always accompanied it, I prefer Bozzio in drums but this drumer is not bad. They play the essencial of Zappa music live and it is a very interesting concert in order that we see how if it touches well. Lot of humor and sarcastic lirics with second intention in every words. It is pity that who does not realize English does not understand the intentions of the letters of the songs and I am afraid that a great part of the audience of Barcelona had not understood part of the sarcasms of Zappa, when the joke of the songs is lost so, but understand the music and like the music is what it interests. On final Zappa does publicity to the Olympic Games of a very human way. Not so good that Baby Snakes but continue a master peace of progressive concerts.
