2 stars Recorded in Holliwood-CA in 1977, the album "Io Tu Noi Tutti" continues the new phase opened by Battisti the previous year with "La Batteria, il Contrabbasso Eccetera": from an eclectic singer-songwriter-prog to a perfect, polished and refined pop music.

It' not a case there's a lot of american disco hints and charm: with funky rythms added to his typical sound the many musicians involved (among others, american Ray Parker Jr. on guitar and Mike Melvoin on keys) helped to create a new fluid sound. This is one of the best examples of how pop music can be immidiately enjoyable and, at very same time, intelligent and non-predictable.

The most famous tracks of the album are: "Sė Viaggiare" with its memorable synth, nice rythm section and groove; the opener "Amarsi un Po'", simple in structure (only two chords) but so exciting and serious with its solemn bass lines and symphonic atmospheres; the more easy closer "Neanche un Minuto di Non Amore". Another great success for Battisti (the album went immidiately at no. 1 in the italian music chart).
