2 stars The second album from this Italian band brings a new stew of improvisations and mish mash of all styles. From reggae, dub, calypso to David Bowie like rock/pop. Inbetween, they also pay hommage to Inxs and the funk scene. There are also a lot of avant-garde and electronica stuff here with samples and sound effects. The blues like male vocals is sung in Italian and does not tell me anything.

This album most of all reminds me about the Sandinista album The Clash once released. In other words; a mishmash of various styles. But where The Clash pulled it off, our Italian does not. The music on Bottiglie E Tempo is decent enough and far from being a disaster. But the quality is simply not here and the music becomes background noise. Quite irritating background noise too at times. I do not get positive vibes from this album at all. But thanx for trying.
